THE GARDEN STAGE

Our funk, soul and reggae DJ stage is headlined across the three cities by Ninja-Tunes hip-hop jazz break heroes, The Herbaliser DJs, reggae legends Trojan Sound System in their Australian debut, along with a very special soul set from The Family Stone. The Garden Stage also features Freakout DJs, DJ Obliveous & DJ Lob and Paul Bisby (Melbourne), Siberia DJs, Randall Stagg and PhDJ (Sydney) and DJ Scope, Private Velodrome, Tropics and Dave Cuthbert (Brisbane).

Women of Letters (Melbourne)
Five Harvest artists are invited by the curators of Melbourne-phenomenon, Women of Letters, to pen a ‘Letter to the song I never wrote’, and incorporate a performance aspect into it, should they wish, in a lovely and delicate homage to the art of writing missives. 

The Little Dum Dum Club (Melbourne)
Tommy Dassalo and Karl Chandler play host to an hour-long block of alternative comedy from four of the finest comics on the Australian landscape. 

WeMakeUs Revolution! (Melbourne)
If you believe in the power of creative thought process, then join the We Make Us political party. There will be speeches, soap boxes, rallying, banners, shirt printing, balloons and dancing! Get involved in the creative revolution!

Ghost Stories (Melbourne / Sydney)
Prepare to be spooked, scared, and spine-tingled by Ghost Stories around the Campfire Stage, featuring everything from classics by masters in horror like Edgar Allan Poe, to true stories and local legends.

Caravan Slam (Sydney)
Caravan Slam showcases an alliance between musicians and writers in a rip-roaring hour of slam poetry, music, hiphop and art.

Juke Baritone (Sydney)
Feisty front man of Juke Baritone and the Swamp Dogs takes to the stage to perform a spoken word soliloquy. Juke has been described as “chaotic, maniacal and absolutely, comprehensively in your face”. Brace yourself.
