THE LEAGUE OF SIDESHOW SUPERSTARS was first conceived as a one-off performance at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2005. 800 people packed out the main hall and the show was such a success that “The League” became the highlight of the fringe for the next 4 years. Since then, THE LEAGUE OF SIDESHOW SUPERSTARS has become Australia’s premier platform for sideshow artists.
They perform regularly at Adelaide and Brisbane Royal Shows and at the Sydney Easter Show as The Psycho Sideshow. They were the biggest thing at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2 years ago and last year were a featured act at the Darwin International Arts Festival.
The founder and front man of “The League” Shep Huntly, was an original member of Australia's first and foremost freakshow, The Happy Sideshow and has developed a reputation as a formidable host and charismatic MC.
